“Vanuatu National Egg & Poultry Corporation” is the proposed working name for this private egg and poultry initiative. The corporation has not yet been formally incorporated or registered as a legal entity in Vanuatu. The name is currently being used to identify and communicate the proposed project and remains subject to official name approval and registration.

The project promoters gratefully acknowledge the ongoing discussions, negotiations, guidance and project facilitation involving:

• Honourable Ian Wilson Toagalana, Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, Forestry and Biosecurity;

• Mr Jack Loughman, First Political Advisor to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Forestry and Biosecurity; and

• Mr Nambo Moses Kalau, Deputy Director – Livestock.

Their continued engagement and assistance are helping the proposed project progress through its planning, registration, regulatory and sector-coordination processes.

We also gratefully recognise the interest, encouragement and support received from individuals, farmers and communities across Vanuatu. The project aims to strengthen national food security, increase local egg and poultry production, support farmers, create employment and contribute to a stronger agricultural future for the people of Vanuatu.
